WSE0172 - Import: User already exists

Error message       

Import: A user with login name &1 already exists. The user has not been created.

Parameters

&1 - The login name of the user

Description

A user should have been imported. However, another user with the same login name already exists. The user has not been imported. Any import of roles for this user will also result in an error.

Action

Each site can only have one user with a specific login name. Check whether it actually is the same user that has been defined in both sites - if this is the case, check whether the user should have additional roles assigned.

If it is actually two different users, you must manually assign create the information for the user that could not be imported and inform the user about the new user name.
